That The Savage Rose is an icon on the Danish music scene is not up for discussion. The band has managed to move and inspire listeners for more than 50 years, and with their unique sound and powerful songwriting, the band has long since cemented themselves as one of Scandinavia's most important bands.
Fronted by Annisette's soulful voice, The Savage Rose's music is known for being both raw and deeply personal. The band has released countless albums and achieved great recognition both nationally and internationally. Time and time again, they demonstrate their ability to create music that reflects the zeitgeist while challenging the conventions of the genre. As David Fricke of American rock magazine Rolling Stone has previously written about the band, "The Savage Rose are not prisoners of history - because they never stopped making it."
Over the years, their music has become the soundtrack to the lives of several generations and has helped shape the Danish music scene. With their timeless and deeply moving universe, they have managed to create an emotional and artistic space where listeners can immerse themselves and let themselves be carried away by the power of music.
Live, The Savage Rose are known for their intense energy and ability to create an immersive and captivating experience. Experience it for yourself when The Savage Rose tour the country in 2024. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the release of the iconic Wild Child album, and as a tribute to the groundbreaking album, the band has chosen to call their upcoming tour the Wild Child-tour. In addition to Annisette, The Savage Rose anno 2024 consists of Naja Rosa Koppel (choir), Amina Omar Carsce (choir), Las Nissen (guitar), Frank Hasselstrøm (horns and keys), Dan Hemmer/Daniel Fridell (Hammond and keys), Jacob Haubjerg (bass) and Anders Holm (drums).
