Palehound shakes off indie rock and bathe you in sensitivity
With their latest release Eye On The Bat (2023), Palehound present a sonic masterpiece of indie rock - with explosive guitar riffs, thunderous drums and El Kempner's distinctive vocals.
On the album, Kempner, accompanied by the multi-talented Larz Brogan, reveals a collection of new tracks filled with the vitality, vulnerability and unfiltered emotion that Palehound is known for.
The album takes you on a journey from before to after a breakup and the thoughts and feelings that come with the process - such as regret, embarrassment and desperation. The sharp and introspective lyrics delve into themes of self-discovery, anxiety and liberation.
Eye on the Bat is the fourth album in the series, following their critically acclaimed debut album Dry Food (2015), A Palce I'll Always Go (2017) and Black Friday (2019).
