Aarhus-based Baloosh has a deep passion for music and a unique lyrical style that spans genres and expressions - but also classes in society - as he decided early on in his career that he wanted to do.

He has quickly gained recognition for his compelling, personal and honest lyrics, and now follows up his debut album Ny Art from May this year with the single "Danser Med Dæmoner", the first single he has released with childhood friend Omar.

The collaboration was born out of their long relationship, as they both grew up in the same neighborhood in Bispehaven in Aarhus V. The two artists share the same hyper-melodic approach to music and both write about life in the ghetto, for better or worse.

"The song is about having some problems or difficult things in life that you don't deal with in the moment they happen. And when that's the case, they often come back again and again, perhaps ending up as trauma or scars on the soul. Life can often feel like a dance with the demons you carry with you from the past."

Baloosh made his entrance on the Danish music scene just three years ago, where he was a key part of the DR documentary Ghetto Stars. His critically acclaimed debut album was released in May this year after he played Spot Festival. Over the summer, he has performed at Roskilde Festival and Nibe Festival, as well as toured the GRØN concert with L.O.C.
