The newly started concert club ANTENNA is working to create a creative, innovative, and inclusive live format that will challenge the usual framework for the cultural experience on the Danish upcoming scene.

Behind ANTENNA is a group of five young people, all with roots in different parts of the world, but all born and raised in Copenhagen. On Thursday May 2nd, the booking community will hold their very first concert at Ideal Bar. Here you can experience three magical artists:

AGGi
In a mix between Afro rhythms and a modern, European approach to hip hop, AGGi fuses the best of Ghana and Denmark. Drawing on a wide range of inspirations, she blends catchy melodies with refreshing bouncy rap that perfectly matches the well-produced beats.

AGGi has already made her mark on the Danish underground scene, but after meeting the talented producer and artist Anguyo, she has been working on a completely new sound, which was well received in late summer 2023 with the first single "Better Money" followed by the strong single "Waste No Time".

Danyel
In the heart of Copenhagen, a new musical force has manifested itself under the artist name Danyel. Born and raised in the vibrant Danish capital, Danyel is on a mission to share his personal journey and perspectives through a unique musical experience.

Danyel takes listeners on a journey through his youth in Copenhagen and how these experiences have shaped his artistic identity. His music is an honest portrayal of life in the city, characterised by diversity, contrasts and exciting adventures.

JVC X Felix Diarra
JVC & Felix Diarra are two people who have spent over 10,000 hours with instruments, the craft they love and master. Together they create a whole new experience when interacting with the DJ booth and the pulsating live guitar. JVC and Felix Diarra will perform an improvisational multi-set where the live guitar and the DJ booth create a whole new way of experiencing and being at a concert.

ANTENNA originates from the concert programme Restage. Restage focuses on increasing the representation of ethnic minority youth at Danish festivals, venues and cultural institutions - both among volunteers, audiences, and staff. Their travel teams, focus groups and talent programmes support the development of inclusive strategic processes that create more equal access for all young people to express themselves culturally and artistically.
