Maggie Rogers returns to Denmark

Maggie Rogers is a young American producer and songwriter of some renown. Her second album Surrender was released in last year in July. The album has been a huge success and the single “That’s Where I Am” has already achieved 16 million Spotify streams.

This long-awaited album is Rogers’ follow-up to her 2019 début Heard It In A Past Life, which was enormously successful, reaching the second spot on the Billboard 200 chart and securing Maggie a nomination in the 'Best New Artist' category at that year's Grammy Awards. Gaffa awarded Maggie’s first album four stars and praised her for her copious use of dubbed vocals, gospel choir, captivating drumbeats and incredibly cool pacing changes.

Rogers is an enchanting live performer, who has built a global fan base and sold out tours on both sides of the Atlantic, as well as performing at major festivals in the UK, Europe and in her native USA. The last time we in Denmark were privileged to receive a visit from Rogers was when she opened the Roskilde Festival in 2019, a concert that was highly acclaimed with a five star review by Soundvenue, which praised Rogers for dancing through the entire performance, while still pulling off razor-sharp musical arrangements, where she knew (and danced) every little break and only rarely missed any of her lines.
