Ane Brun returns to Store VEGA where she has previously delivered unforgettable concert experiences.
The reason for the experienced Norwegian's visit is that this year she debuted with the album, Spending Time with Morgan, 20 years ago. It reached the top 20 in her home country, but it was only a modest warning of her great future popularity. Today, Ane Brun is one of the best-selling names in Norway. She has also twice won the Spellemans Prize – Norway’s answer to the DMA.
The key to Ane Brun’s popularity lies in her powerful songwriting, driven by her distinctive and expressive vocals. It’s classical melodic pop with a touch of people, chamber pop and Nordic melancholy – some of the same atmosphere found in Nordic spirituals such as Agnes Obel, Thomas Dybdahl, Eivør, Teitur and Susanne Sundfør. She's also an uncompromising and curious musician who has experimented with jazz, electronica and classical music.
VEGA is located 1 minute's walk from Enghave Plads metro station, 15 minutes' walk from Copenhagen Central Station and 10 minutes' walk from Carlsberg S-tog station. The 1A and 9A bus lines stop close to VEGA. You can also make your own travel plan with the help of rejseplanen.dk.
