VEGA shows the direction for the music of the future and works actively to ensure that both Danish and international talent is nurtured and developed, so that future generations of music lovers will also experience getting stars from their own generation.
All year round we present concerts with promising new artists, who we think have special quality and potential to reach an audience. We see it as part of our DNA to help develop and present the live music that is budding and growing in the rehearsal rooms and that is gaining a foothold among the audience.
Our talent programme, VEGA Talent, has given further impetus to the development of new talent in the building. VEGA Talent includes, among other things, the two industry events VEGA Selected and When Copenhell Freezes Over, which are regular annual events that create a lot of interest both at home and abroad.
At VEGA, we also take pride in presenting a diverse selection of musicians from promising international artists. That is why we are proud, as the only music venue in Denmark, to be part of Liveurope, which works actively to promote opportunities for European talent to play concerts across Europe.
