Important support from private companies and public bodies gives us the opportunity to offer music lovers from near and far spine-tingling musical and artistic experiences in our beautiful architectural setting and help contribute to the crucial development of live music in Denmark.
As a regional music venue, VEGA is supported for a four-year period at a time by the Danish Arts Foundation and Copenhagen Municipality. We are proud to be able to help promote a diverse repertoire of musical talent with financial support from these two partners, and we appreciate the recognition we receive for our great work to create new concert formats and experiences for our audiences.
Our long and fruitful collaboration with our main sponsor Tuborg has given us the opportunity to be a live concert venue that doesn't just offer delicious draught beer, but also a locally rooted relationship here in Vesterbro, where we are based.
VEGA works with musicians and bands from Europe's emerging scene in the EU-funded programme, Liveurope, and organises concerts with a focus on Nordic artists with the help of the Nordic Culture Fund's programme Puls.
