VEGA is a unique music venue. VEGA is run by a private business foundation with a non-profit purpose.
The purpose of the Koncertvirksomhedens Fond (Concert Business Foundation), as the foundation is called, is to run a venue for new rhythmic music and to create an international concert scene for rhythmic music and related genres and arts of high artistic quality.
The Koncertvirksomhedens Fond has no shareholders or ownership group and any profits are spent on making even more and better concerts.
There are approx.160 employees, the majority of whom are hourly employees. VEGA employs approximately 23 full-time employees in its daily running and administration.
